About the shop
Yoghourt Hooks Plants is a neighbourhood indoor plant shop in Antwerp—small floor, careful stock, and conversation about light before checkout.
We opened Yoghourt Hooks Plants for people who want greenery that survives weekday routines. The shop sits on Kloosterstraat in 2000 Antwerp, a short walk from streets where apartments stack tall windows over narrow rooms. That context shapes what we buy: plants that forgive imperfect watering and pots that drain.
Our name pairs the domain stem with the plant shop focus—hooks for hanging vines, shelves for upright leaves, and a calm aisle instead of a warehouse. We are not a garden centre for outdoor beds. We stay with indoor foliage, potting mixes, and the advice that helps a plant settle after the tram ride home.
How we work
Stock arrives in small batches. We unpack, check roots, and water before anything reaches the sales floor. Labels stay honest: if a plant wants bright light, we say so even when a darker corner looks prettier in a photo. Staff time goes into matching plants to rooms, not into upselling sprays or gadgets.
We speak English with customers and keep written care notes in English on this site and in the shop. Legal information for our Belgian address follows GDPR and guidance from the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA).
What we care about
Healthy plants first. Clear drainage. Fewer impulse buys that end up on the balcony in frost. When something fails despite sensible care, we talk through what changed—heat, drafts, or a pot without a hole—rather than promising miracles.
Visit during opening hours, or write ahead if you need a specific height for a stairwell or a gift ready at a certain time. We are glad to hold a plant for the same day when stock allows.
The floor
Skylight light, wood shelves, and room to walk a plant to the door without knocking leaves. We keep the path clear so you can judge size in place—not only from a phone screen.
